This educational resource kit is for teachers and educators from across Canada. It contains a lesson plan and six classroom activities, which can be completed in whole or in part depending on the needs of the course. Five of these activities come with an activity sheet for the students. The lesson plan and the activity sheets can be downloaded for free, below. |
Lesson objective
The objective of this lesson is to teach students about the Canadian Honours System and to foster a renewed sense of national pride and identity.
Target groups
This lesson plan proposes several activities designed for different grade levels. Pick and choose one or a combination of activities that will meet your class’s needs.
