Their Excellencies to attend State funeral events for the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney

OTTAWA, Ontario—Their Excellencies the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, and Mr. Whit Fraser will take part in commemorative events to mark the passing of the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney P.C., C.C., G.O.Q.

Their Excellencies will join other dignitaries for the lying-in-state in Ottawa, where they will express their sympathies to the family and sign a book of condolences. They will also attend the State funeral at Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

State funeral ceremony
